I was trying to make them move acording to the muscle exertion so when one leg is pushing on the ground it pushes out the spike. Thanks for the input

Despite the spikes that just sort of change in height, it looks pretty nice.

The linework is a little rough/jagged, especially on the back. With a little clean-up, this will look good!
