Ghost Police is a game I started development on a while back that splits the screen between NES-esque graphics and Game Boy colours, and tasks the player with controlling a character on each side. Each character can chip away at the opposite surface to move forward, needing to be careful not to trap the other. Some enemies only appear on either surface and need to be uncovered before they can be destroyed; the same goes for secret powerups that need to be found and collected.
Over the past few months I've worked on rebuilding the game engine from the ground up and going with the dream aesthetic I had for the game but didn't feel confident in producing. Going forward, this is the new look I'm going for with Ghost Police.
