@ hostile
Thanks.
That's awesome!
His paintings are the reason why I picked up art in the first place.
@ Mac & Cheese
Now that you've mentioned it, yeah.
Thanks, man!
@ Theoden
Thank you, buddy! Glad you like it.
Yeah, Paul Bonner is the man. You should check him out, incredible stuff. His work influenced my style immensly.
@ bobo
Thank you very much, bobo!
Glad you noticed that. It's quite hard to get enough depth and the "3d" effect I want for my stuff with merely 3 colours.
Letting the colours blend out in that way helps the brain to focus on the more important forms without sacrificing an interesting look.
No magic involved, only voodoo!
@ Finlal
The other entries humble me, they are that great! :)
I really appreciate though, thanks!
@ Kev
That's a huge compliment, thanks buddy. Having a unique style is one of the goals to reach as an artist imo.
Man, Paul Bonner drawings are a authentic nostalgia trip for me, playing Confrontation, painting miniatures with my frieds... Glad to see this little tribute
Dude, this would make for a great t-shirt design.
Man, this is intense! Nice work :)
And that reference painting is amazing.
I've never heard of Paul Bonner before, I will check his works out.
Another doggi!
Great clusters and use of your textures, you really make it work within these three nicely chosen colors.
It looks like someone threw some color on a canvas and then went from the shapes that formed (there's still some spraid paint around the face ), really nice vibe. Probably because you maintain a rough look eventhough it looks quite polished on pixel level, probably something about the shapes.. or black magic? I'm not entirely sure how you do that..
Eitherway, I like it!
Don't be so humble.
This is the best challenge entry so far.
Ey i know it right away it's yours. As always good sense of depth and skin texture :)
@ Voltali obscur
Yeah, I love it It works so damn well with limited palettes.
@ Arcade
Hehe, there is already so much other great stuff! It's gonna be hard.
Thank you very much, buddy!
Thanks a bunch!
Yeah, he is the best. Such an incrediblly influential art style.
Looks ferocious, nicely done. Paul Bonner is pretty awesome, I love his art in mtg
