yea, i just noticed that the snake(the guy who made the katamari shadow of the collossus, the top entry in the hall of fame), is only a lvl 1

Thanks man, It would be cool to win ^^ Theres usually some insanely good entries submitted towards the end of the week, so who knows. As for the lvl it's it just mostly depends on how long you've been here and how active of a member you are. High level people tend to be pretty amazing with their pixels tough ^^

The level itself doesn't really have an impact on how good a pixel artist's pieces are. Just the art prowess of said artist 

Basically, it's totally possible to have a level 1 user who just joined do Fool-level art (Fool is one of the most known artists around here by the way, if you haven't heard of him) since they can have experience with pixel art prior to joining, and it's also possible (although unlikely) to have a level 11 user do art that could be compared to that of a beginner. It all depends on the skills of the artist 

this one is probably winning, also, jesus christ, how much time do you have to put in to this to level up? This guy is only level 3 and he's making this amazing stuff, and the max level is what? 11?
