For a game im working on. This is for a character select screen and for the game's hub. Only there all of the animations are put together and queued. This is the second of a long series of choosable characters' portraits. Ill post here the best ones

Thanks for the comments! The sideways blink was a good choice I see (hehe, and it was a last-minute change at that!) But actually, this animation is not the real one; right now, the defenitive thing is still as a strip; the order of the animation bits depending on some factors, the actual animation is going to be made in-code rather than all preset in a gif file. For that preview, I just put all of the sequences one after the other to show more or less what it looks like when animated.
Very nice, but watch your smoothness of frames could be better. great job:) maybe add him breathing inbetween actions and you got it, brother. Sorry one more thing some more anti-alaising on the hat. thats it :)
Really fluid animation! I love it. The only thing I'd change is making the blink a little faster, just like a real lizard. Great texturing on the face though. It's brilliant that you've maintained the detail throughout the animation.
I love the way you did the scales and his snaggly teeth. The animation is very effective. Only crit is the white highlights on the hat brim. When he faces the viewer, it becomes jagged. Great piece tho, and a fave.
