Just wanted to put some animations in my gallery. I drew this for The Battle for Wesnoth a while ago; the base frame came about mostly from the work of Jetrel and Sleepwalker over at the Wesnoth forums.
Nicely rendered armor and also such a nice animation, as you've been told before. Makes me want to try doing some sprite work.
<3 Where did you go! Keep pixeling!
OMG! amazing animation!!
Thanks a lot for the kind words, everyone!
@pizzajunky33: Animation is just like any other skill; practice makes perfect and all that jazz -- it's entirely within your grasp! If you want a good read on animation, The Animator's Survival Kit is both approachable and indespensible, but it's also possible to pick up quite a bit by just looking around; here on the PJ forums and over at Pixelation are two good places to start. As for your actual question, I believe each frame fits within a 72 x 72 pixel box, but I just set the canvas size to 100 x 100 when uploading. There are nine unique frames including the baseframe.
Nice Animation ;3
Oh, hey, wasn't expecting to see this on Pixeljoint. Nice ;)
Wish I could do this. What are the dimensions?
Great work !
Nice sprite !
Thanks! :) Good to hear; a lot of great pixel work has gone into Wesnoth over the years.
Very nice! keep it up
Iam a fan of Battle of Wesnoth
