This was actually more of a challenge than it looked. The only things I knew about this funky little dude were that 1.) he's weird and 2.) he rides around on a jellybean... sometimes... I think. The jellybean was actually pretty simple to come up with but, for some reason, coming up with an interesting way to represent his head was pretty frustrating. I decided to animate him at the last second so it's a little spacey with the frames. 8 frames, but they were compiled pretty quickly. I didn't take advantage of the 16 color limit (I actually thought it was 8 when I started ). I also designed it to look better with the background color in the detail pic because I thought I was running out of colors so I decided the lightest of the palette colors would fit best... and I think it just looks better that way. Which is nice. x) I went back and put several different colors on the background just to test it out and, though they didn't look bad, it just looks better this way and I can keep my low color count. I just Loooove to complicate things. But, at last, here he is in all his jellybouncing glory. Enjoy... and don't eat the green ones!
----Update
The detail file sucked. Lol! So you get the preview as the actual submission. Also, the thumb, due to the transparency, does have 8 colors. Which is fine, I guess. I hope it shows up okay for everybody.

Thanks! I see what you're talking about. I think I'm just using such a broad value system. Real bright and saturated highlights to real dark shadows. I gotta reign that in, I suppose... or maybe I'll let it go wild! We'll have to see...
