I have two tips: Add another one or two frames where we see the bone from the side, now it looks more like it's blinking than that it's rotating.
The second: Find subjects that have more interesting motion! Objects that you can stretch and squish, rotating joints, or if you really want to stick with floating objects that rotate find the most interesting angle on which you can rotate it so it's more fun to watch!
