Hmm, there's no room leading to egg corridor in cave story, you get there by teleporter
The only room that comes to my mind is where the No.00 was, but it's not really similar either..
 

I can't help thinking I know this place. Isn't there a similar room in Cave Story, the right exit leading to a long corridor with giant eggs ?
