I was going to make the BG art but they simply stopped working on the game after the beta release.
They aren't the same size atm but can do that, it's much easier than manually combining 10 animations (btw of course I'm thinking about combining them side by side as playing each of them once won't give any ideas).
The sprites of the characters are great, but the Backgrounds of the game, would have had potential with your style.
If you have all your animations as separate gifs: make sure they're all approximately the same size (Aseprite and probably other decent gif editors allow resizing all the frames at once), and then you can combine them using this tool in your browser. They also have a tool for putting gifs side-by-side, but I'm not sure how well it works with co-prime frame counts like you have here.
The site I linked also has tools for making gifs out of spritesheets, but the sprites all have to be arranged exactly on a grid (if you want to try it, it's under the Split menu). If you can arrange your sheet that way (the death sprites are currently off-grid), it's not hard to make a sequential gif of them all. If your gif ends up with empty frames, you can remove them with tools on that site too.
Still a hassle, but maybe not too much? ;D
I'd like that too but it's why I haven't submit this before. It's too much work to join these together in one image (and I don't want to submit 3 separate pieces for this) and honestly I don't have the will for it. So I'd rather post it like this than not at all, because I need it to be on my portfolio :)
Again, thanks for your opinion! Though I'm not sure about the preferences of "people on PJ", I've seen a lot of different preferences in my time here.
Any chance we could get the animations instead of the spritesheet? As I understand, people on PJ seem to prefer spritesheets to be an additional/linked image rather than as the main submission.
Love it! Something about Kaiju just speaks to my soul. Sorry to hear the developers didn't pursue the concept further. Mobile is a fickle market.
