Always cool to see these sprites, makes me think of that they are going to be used in a video game.
I dont like the style and sprite... but its amazing!
The thing that really ruins this for me is that the sprite shrinks unnaturally when it slashes forward.
the only thing that looks great are the legs and the tail just that. Up! keep it up.
Nice critics ? How could it be possible to criticize such an amaeing work ! Excellent ! Fine & very well animated. I just can't imagine the time it represents, but when passion is here...

i think it could use more frames and have a little tweaking on the palette. Well its a 4 years old piece but anyways, maybe you could try to remake it even better :)

Its always hard working with such large sprites but this is fantastic.
Like others said (sorry!), the hat seems a bit off...less realistic than the rest.
The only other thing that bothered me was the blue cloth looked a bit pillow-shaded, especially in earlier frames.
Other than that, this is pure awesome. :]
