This looks purely amazing, I hope it's a fun game as well.
and now, something new i wanna try.
brillant work here. thanks for sharing.
Wow, that's amazing! I hadn't thought 2 colors could look this good :D Everything is still so distinguishable from each other, good work!
Looking at it, I'm wondering about the forest floor. If the white floor is grass, what's the dark floor supposed to be? or is it supposed to indicate just darker / deeper forest, or areas where you can't walk? wouldn't the pathes be non-grass, either? I sure would like to play it right now :)
I love how this mode of drawing forces you to work extensively with suggestion and gestalt principles. It’s engaging many of the same foundations of what some folks call cluster study, but pushed past the point where most individual marks are distinguishable from larger forms. In particular the handling of the different types of foliage stands out masterfully.
Great work, looking forward to the release :)
@Mandrill
Thanks a lot, bro! I tried to do my best and I'm really glad it turned out like this
1-bit heaven! This is absolutely sublime, my friend!
I didn't actually know 1bit could look this good. Good call on avoiding the urge to imitate the widest value range possible, which tends to end in a sea of unsuccesful dithering.
@Lucas-
Awww thanks, dude!
The third color is transparency to separate the screens hehe
@Theoden
Thanks a lot for all your support, bro! I'm super appreciate it
Oh man, this is just amazing... but I wonder, you used 3 colors, black, white and?
@Imagician
Thank you very much, dude! That supposed to indicate areas, where you can/can't walk...
But you can walk in some dark areas heh
