Wicked! I like the atmospheric feel of this. Very nice color choice.
Very fun how the foreground spikes violate the picture plane.
Somehow brings back memories of the Amiga game Onslaught. That, and the last day at Glastonbury.
Quite much dithering but the roughness fits the scene perfectly! love it!
Massive, I love it. The drawing is really good, and it's very interesting how instead of antialiasing the edges, you increased the sharpening by adding highlights and contrast. That gives it a distinct texture and feeling. So many things to praise in this image... Congrats!
The shear amount of time and effort put into this certainly shows and for 12 colours I am pretty impressed. Great work!
I think this is the most appropriate use of dithering I have seen anywhere on this site.
Ahh, that's amazing. I love how gritty and textured it is.
The background soldiers' shading style is what caught my attention mainly. Great idea
Looks like a cool perspective version of aoe 2. With animals.
This is glorious! I can't believe it's just 12 colors!
The fog effect is beautiful! I can't stop looking at it.
I remember seeing this about a year ago when browsing pixel art, it was in the Hall of Fame and I was lurking... This piece has kinda stuck with me through that time and been an influence on me in more ways than one. So glad I've found it again. Can't fave it enough. I love it.
omgggggggg gooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooddddddd
Great atmospheric feel. I can imagine myself in the battlefield.
I was taking a drink of water when i saw this, and honestly almost spat it all over my keyboard. This is wonderful. Just the drawing alone is stunning, but if you take into account the shading and dithering, not to mention the twelve-colour palette, it becomes something really special. Also it's Warhammer, so add ten thousand points.
I bet you get sick of it after 5 years worth of adoring comments though, eh?
Great work! And really impressing with a so small palette!
I just LOVE the details, and everything! And the big monsters... Scary!
You should totally make one from the orcs.
Btw I love it
I still think Fool's was better.
But, still, amazing job, none-the-less.
The depth works great! Better than lord of the rings, @Rain Maker
Only twelve colors and it looks better than a movie! Fantastic Work! :D
yes only 12 colours an such a piece...you really made something out of your own with warhammer's skavens!
Great
