One thing that bothers me is the drop shadow above the bottom of the GUI. Its not pixeled : /

This is so good.

Some bothers - heavy dithery bg, twilight shadow on tree - why so extreme?, npa drop shadow on foreground elements breaking your pure pixel medium.

hehe! Great Character and I love the idea behind the water.
Not so keen on the dithered backdrop picture as it doesn't lend itself to the same style quality of the other artwork. To be honest, it would look fine with just a solid backdrop colour.

Love it all the same and the main artwork is brilliant.

Re: the tree, that blue thing is a pretty standard thing to do, err well they did it in Secret o' Mana 2 (seiken densetsu 3?) and it looked good!.

I think the tree shadow's pretty big as well.
