The pixels are nearly perfect, so my only thought is on the narrative, I wish it was more clear - what's happening here? / why are they meeting? / is she supposed to be there? etc etc

Very, very nice! I love how the color's saturation differentiate the characters from the background/scenario even without strong outlines!
