Here is a piece made for the Pixeljoint's weekly contest.
Never worked with such heterodox pixel ratios! It was confusing at first then, very funny!
Wow, this one rocks!
Animating is also possible, my original plan for my submission was to do a scrolling canvas! That way you can hide as much width as you want in a single 100x100 image. Feel free to use that idea ;).
Thanks for the proposition, Hapiel, but I think it turned out okay anyways and I don't want the others to feel aggrieved because of my inattention (the shown canvases were clear from start)! Maybe -and it's a huge "maybe"- I will animate it, if I find the time until next sunday. Could be nicer.
Also, thanks Quiara and Christoballs (what kind of a name is that anyways, lol!).
The sprites look great!
(FWIW I think the... the edited square canvas one is really cool, and I couldn't tell you it wasn't intended to be those dimensions from looking at it)
Sorry, my bad! I was going to message you but got caught up. I changed the weekly text to make the rules more clear now, but was fully ready to accept your wide piece as an entry because the text could be intepreted in multiple ways!
So, feel free (as an exception) to submit the 200x100 piece, as it was my bad :)
Okay it's fixed... :'(
Yeah, you are right, thanks. I did not pay enough attention to the rules due to very distracting stuff happening at my place. -_-
I Interpreted the requested piece as being 100 by 100 pixels with pixels being elongated hence the rectangular format.
I will edit my piece while trying not to massacre it too much but it sucks.
Hi, this is looking cool but I'm afraid the canvas size is not fitting the weekly's restrictions. :(
