I also thought of The Fountain straight away. I really like the way the foliage looks like gold. It's very fairytale-like.

I think that the choice to set this scene in outer space speaks a lot about the palette. it gives me the vibe that this tree has existed out here since before I can imagine and will continue to long after I pass on. there is beauty in it, as well as a little intimidating - it feels like it depicts something more than myself. anyway, well done as always, and thanks for sharing such a nice piece / palette!

also - I am immediately reminded of the poster for the movie The Fountain.
