I made the lion sprite for a personal game project that I might still polish off one of these days. I spent some time this month dusting it off, smartening it up and working on the background and people. Original reference for the lion is a hodge podge of google image searches but particularly this sculpt by Rembrandt Bugatti.

Very nice. I love the stylized look of the lion and the whole thing has a lot of atmosphere. I'd love to see more assets from the game.
