William Utermohlen was an artist who, in 1995, was diagnosed with Alzheimer's. His artwork in the following years shows just how much dementia deteriorates a person's ability to perceive.

Oh, this is quite the likeness. (It's based on a self-portrait of Utermohlen's from 1967.) The spotty bits of green are interesting - they're the most challenging part of this palette to work with, imo.
