Thank you! I never played this game so I had to look it up. Seems that this boss is a nautilus. I'm no expert on the matter but I believe ammonites, nautiluses, etc are basically variations of the same kind of thing. To put it in highly scientific terms: a squid in a shell :D While many of these have been extinct for quite some time, nautiluses still exist. Oh, and I believe in reality they aren't as menacing and huge as the one in the game ;D

Thanks! Actually no. I did a few sheets full of sketches of all sorts of creatures and fossils. Ammonites, trilobites, prehistoric fish - both reality-based as well as more on the fantasy side. Though I guess I can see why you'd make that comparison.
