Yes totally Siskan, nice observation, in fact, I did go down that path at one point with the orange & yellow tones, but as you suggest it was getting hard to make it work with that palette. So I abandoned the idea; sometimes things must be dropped, heh. I'll try again though perhaps, there must be a way to get more of a hint in there. Perhaps a dithered lavender ray or two...

I agree that this this looks like a 70's thing, very retro futuristic / space age! Nice hologram too. The palette was probably to limiting but some general light emission would have complemented it.
