I looked for pixel art illustrations of the Gameboy Advance SP to see how I could do it, sadly I did not find any convincing. Unfortunately, I clearly found illustrations of the Game Boy (The first), I found it interesting to recreate my Gameboy Advance SP in pixel art, so I did. In particular, it generated some nostalgia, since I used the GameBoy Advance SP until I was 19 years old, so making this design took me to my inner child.

I used my Gameboy original tones for this design. I hope you like it.

Oh I understand, the truth is that I have tried to look for pixel art tutorials, however, since I do not speak English, and most of the tutorials on the subject are in English and are not subtitled, basically it makes it super difficult for me to learn through YouTube tutorials.

Oh no, first time I heard about the color change, how is that?

And yes, I understand about the gamboy, the guy he had was according to the illustration haha

You should give it a try, there are tons of Youtube tutorials that can help you get started.

I see, my dream is to make games, let's get there!!

That sounds interesting, can't wait to see it. I really like pixel art, it's so simple and yet complicated and really powerful if used at its full potentional. I study the pixel art of other people to help me evolve faster but I always do it all from scratch, I believe this is the best way to learn and evolve. Looking at your art, there are tons of things I can learn.

You use hue shifting for colors? I just learned this and it has been a great help for me when picking colors.

BTW, I actually known GameBoy when I was younger, I remember having over 100 games and it looked exactly like what you draw here.

oh great, I don't sketch, I usually pick an image from a movie or something, and then sketch on a new layer from that image hahaha. My dream is to make more realistic illustrations, like comics maybe. or paintings in some cases.

Soon I will upload a simple pixel art of Samurai Jack

I see, anyway, you are more experienced than me!! Me too. I started  years ago but I was really bad... that changed some months ago when I started to draw with pencil doing portraits and all sorts of drawings ( hb to 6b pencils if you know ) and now I moved to pixel art for making my dream true, and that is to make games.

Hi thanks! The truth is that I started with pegueñas things in 2017 with dotpic on my tablet, but I resumed it in 2019 in a formal way, hahaha, however, I must improve many things within my designs, which I will do little by little.
