Incredible! In case of the knees, to me these are just some cool, self confident, kinda douchey dance moves. Being cocky before the fight usually ends bad... :)
The pixelling quality is amazing and everything is spot on except that I don't understand the movement. It's kind of a strange way to move, IMO, rotating both knees and feet side to side. On the other hand, maybe it's just what they do in the Netherrealm. 
He is just dancing.
Damn, I wish to see a fighting game with such animation!
