I think my monitor calibtaion is a bit off, but I have to agree that the contrast got lost for me. :/

Not enough contrast and the edge between light and dark is too sharp.

I don't see the need for the extra colors on the pole. It may be why it doesn't look quite right. The anatomy is not quite right particularly the thigh lenght, yet it all works well. Strange piece for sure. Is he turned on?

the guy looks great, but i think the post or pole looks a bit too simple and kinda subtracts a bit from the piece
