The Pixel Art Discord hosted an event and one of the challenges was to make a 256x256 piece involving previous days' submissions.

As the challenges were daily, I only had 24 hours to complete this and I gotta say it was worth the headache at the end.

The hints of warm/cool light on the opposite figures is a really cute/subtle detail.
