Obwarzanek is a famous regional small bread from Cracow. First records of it comes from XIV. It is similar to a bagel, but made out of two long and slim dough pieces, twisted together into a braid and formed into a ring. Before baking it is dipped in boiling water. And traditionally half of it is covered in salt or poppy seed (there is also a sesame version used since around two decades). If you are sightseeing Cracow you will definately get one of those.
Sprite inside is Coat of Arms of Cracow.
