Thanks Cyangmou ! I'll see if I can slow it down but I think I'll have to add more frames to the skelingtons "animation" for it to look more normal.
That's really cool shm. My favourite bit is the face in the tower, but the portraits and items in the niches are super cool too. I only feel the animation is a tiny bit fast and I wonder if it wouldn't be better if it'd be displayed at half speed, as the skeleton is dangling really quick and the clouds move super fast. Anyways congrats on this awesome piece, all the time and dedication shows.
Beyond amazing but the preview is Jesus bait and switch! XD
I am really glad reading your kind comment. Thank you and please enjoy !
my interpretation of the lore: each character bears an object representing his/her treachery and they need to place their object on the altar first or face God's wrath. Also the characters get powers and stat buffs (the lumpy guy can summon skeletons, the left statue guy has good RNG)
Oups. Sausage fingers. Will fix it asap
edit: fixed. thanks for your comment ! o/
Really great piece. 240 frames! Super impressive! (I hate to be that guy but it's usually spelled 'indefinitely'. But hey, artistic freedom!)
What the. Ok b236 is right, that Parallax is incredible, but still doesn't take the attention right away. Love this piece, 10/10, would not climb this tower. (The bottom right portrait is gorgeous)
Ah man the detail, just *chefs kiss* perfect. It kinda gives me Faxanadu vibes
what a great piece! there's bunch of cool details, but that parallax steals the show
Thanks for the favorite and comment Sarah! To be quite honest I was winging it as I was going, I started with the idea of drawing a fake prog rock album cover then it turned into something more video-gamey.
Music may have dicted the way the piece progressed, at first I was listening to Yes and Blue Oyster Cult then somewhere at the ending I was listening to Rammstein and Apocalyptica x)
About the gore tag, I thought since there is no visible viscera or blood splatters, besides two "hand of glory"s I assumed it was more in the gray morbid imagery area.
What a neat piece, Love the various portraits, props, composition and that tower! Is there a specefic meaning behind this piece? :0
I think you could probably tag it as "gore" rather than nsfw if you'd like?
THanks buddy o/
