Thank you very much! This was actually a kind of mixed media piece, I made a rough traditional painting to get the colors for the palette and build the overall composition. For the pixel rendering I started with the character but I jump around the piece to make it progress somewhat in unison, like "okay, that's enough work on the face for now, I guess I should start messing with this part of the background". So you could say the chaos element was there from the beginning but it has been constantly refined.

Do you make you make the piece and then add the color chaos, or do you make it like this from the begginning? Anyway amazing job.

Thank you! I felt that some chaos and rule breaking was necessary to bring out the theme. Working this way has given me a lot of new ideas.

What a “chaotic” style! Some might call it somewhat messy, but I think it purposely adds an energetic dynamic to the piece, which also suits the subject. It's nice to see new styles appearing in the gallery!
