Beautiful animation. This piece strongly reminds me of Jean Cocteau's La Belle et la Bête, with the empty background that the furniture and staircase exist in. It's been long enough since I saw the film that I don't remember if it did look exactly like that, but it definitely looks that way in my memory and you've captured that kind of surreal, dreamlike atmosphere really well.
