Finally got through MGS 5, which I started back in the summer on the pretext of "no time for something big, play MGS Ground Zeroes, pass an hour and calm down," and I was suddenly drawn in. After passing it I wanted to draw a picture of the game, and something mindlessly painted, so this art was born. The scene was redrawn from one of my screenshots from the 45th mission

I get why people are complimenting guns, but what about that glove from completely another level?

I agree with other compliments. I love how you've handled weapons and reflections on them.

Awesome work! I love all of the little hightlights and especially like the horizontal lines gleaming from the two guns. That's a nice touch. I haven't played the newer MGS but I've played a little bit of the original on the PS1. Great stuff!

Really great composition and handling of skin tones!

I think you made the right call. That one bit of anti-aliasing is really subtle (I didn't notice it), none of the lines look weird and you still nailed that chunky clustered look. Much respect

Thank you, for the review and for your attention! I'd like to tell you something else about the lines in this art. The most difficult was the bottom right long line - the edge of the rocket launcher. Because of the perspective it could not be parallel to the left, and therefore it can not be at a comfortable angle of 26 degrees, which can do without antialiasing. I had to add it, although it spoils the viewing experience a bit, but otherwise the tube would not have been voluminous. Problems of pixel art...

Excellent work.

Nice variety of surfaces on display here. I like how 1-pixel-wide diagonal lines are mostly avoided, makes everything look good and chunky

Thanks, glad to hear)

I really like the shading and the geometricality of the slanted lines in this piece. Cool stuff!
