The way the animation of the gears loops so smoothly and appears to mesh together between individual gears perfectly is honestly what makes this art for me. This is extremely impressive work!
Thank you! It was about ~20hrs for the golem itself, and about ~10 for the background. And then later I think i did a couple more additions as requested ~5hrs more.
The moving cogs were made already previously though as bg elements, i only needed to do some changes and additions to those to fit with the golem, not the core animation.
well - that's impresive, I wonder how much time did you spend on this...

When integrated in-game the smoke is actually made with particles, and im not sure when they decided the smoke will show and wont show.
For this mockup image though, i made the smoke disappear, because it felt a bit busy with lasers and everything else together.
It looks great! I was curious, though, on the longer version ( that doesn't fit PJ file size limits), why does the smoke disappear, when the eyes fire the laser?
