Animation is 8 frames long. 32x32 pixels, I connected each frame using Jasc Animation shop 3 (great free program). I made the tiles before animating them in MSpaint.
(Working on a game, this is one of the tiles.)
I love this!!! I've been trying to make water tiles for my game, but got nowhere any tips?
when it comes to 2D games less was more way back. This is a kind of nostalgia piece, and part of thousands of tiles I have made for an old school replica game.
"And its suppose to be choppy to save room for the CPU"
Are you running this on a calculator or something?
While the animation is great it does look quite tiled.
i think you could remedy this in a way they did in the first grandia game.
on a transparent layer ontop of the water you have the same animation again only not put exactly above or in synch with the other one.
