Maximalizing the minimalism, great stuff!
This is so cool! The UI works perfectly and the dithering is so clear! I really like how the 2 subjects have their colors paired with their contrasts
Oh, what a pleasant relief! I misunderstood the description, sorry for the disturbance.
Thank you! However, the palette you see, the one that was used to create the piece, was published before the challenge, on lospec it's named as "CGA palette 2 (high)", and on the wikipedia page on CGA it's under "mode 5" high intensity. The palette in the description was something I made subsequently.
I gave it a bit of thought , and I have found a simple solution, (of course that only applies in case if the palette was not published somewhere before the challenge).
1) edit the artwork's palette temporarly so it have one of the already published CGA standard or modified palettes.
2) leave it like that until the voting week ends.
3) after the challenge results are announced replace the artwork back to the original state, and leave it like that for us to admire, until the end of internet.
I know this way it will look a bit uglier than you intended, but only for the time of the challenge vote. This way it remains fair to everyone, yet we will be able to keep it as is in the future, without disqualifying it from the challenge.
This is incredible. The artwork but also the palette. However, I have to remind the rule that the palette had to be published before the challenge, to prevent creating an easy mode specifically for this challenge. While I'm 100% positive that you made this palette for artistic reasons, and I already see it becoming my favorite 4 colour palette for a while, I need to be fair to other participants who folowed the rules. Even if I find those rules silly today, that's how I wrote them last week, and changing them now would be dissapointing for others.
Very cool.
