Incredible work! Feels so classic and it's masterfully done, while also keeping it original and engaging.
How dare you telling me I killed 2023 when you made THIS in december!
Wow, this is superb! Really amazing anatomically and just wonderful in terms of colour choices.
I'm particularly obsessed with the rendering of the knees and the hair, but this is great all round.
Maybe your finest work! It really pops and the rendering is gorgeous.
The composition and depth is absolutely astounding! I love the way everything contrasts one another.
You've really become a master of throwing colours from all across the spectrum next to each other and making them work. All that life drawing is really paying off too.
The landscape was heavily inspired by Bouguereau works, idk why I misread some likes in the secret Santa list I was convinced he was mentioned somewhere. I'm glad I misread it though, great learning experience ! And yeh model is amazing, really perfect reference for what I wanted to do, I'll upload the ref
Don't you look at your own figure pixels and thank you, I actually wanted to make some Tomi laurila study for this but it was way bigger than I thought
And you know you weren't utterly wrong for the dragon thing... This was probably inspired by a story about humans carving dragons in stones to then "transfer" into them..
I'm glad you like it weerdmeester :)
I actually considered putting something there, like a bird or a stream of water but in the end it was already too much work. I'm glad you like it !!
Thank you! I tried to give the background a bit more attention this time yeh.. didn't had the time for proper clouds though
Really good! Especially the work on the landscape.
I recognise the model
Amazing! I could never have imagined figure drawing like this done in pixel art!
Looks even better up close! Great stuff as usual!
The only way this could possibly have been any better would have been if he was holding a tiny dinosaur pirate captain in his hand. Seriously though, this is just brilliant The skills!
Love the way you put in so much detail not only in the foreground, but also the background! Tho the marble part of the subject is still my favorite =)
