The colour palette was inspired by the NEC PC-98 visual novel YU-NO: A Girl Who Chants Love at the Bound of this World relased in 1996. It uses 16 colours and dithering brushes from a Clip Studio Paint brush set I made. The reference photo is from the YouTuber Rambalac. The image was designed to be a like a visual novel background helped by the reference photo being taken from close to eye-level height.
