i really like this. and i think the signature is fine in there. it makes the avatar more yours. and who else would want an avatar with someone else's screen name in it?

Kinda neat. I like how you suggest a lot of detail in the head (especially there, but in other places as well) without using a lot of pixels. Might be a good idea not to include signatures in your images as they can be distracting and we already know who you are because it says on the page.
