Agreed with CrissyPink on this, with this edit it's even better! Wonderful work!
Heya, thanks for the response, hope this edit suffices
I really like this piece but the outline makes it look like the right forearm is behind the bicep, since the bicep has more volume and is placed on top it could be something that can be easily fixed just by making sure the lines of the forearm are on top. biceps lines,
Looks pretty good! I think you nailed the chainmail part. My only thing, and it's very minor, is that the weapon (Halberd?) looks odd in his grip at that height. Maybe repositioning the hand lower would make it feel better? The hand angle and the weapon are also a little off imo, hand looks like it's held straight up and down, while the weapon is leaned to the side.
Other than that (and again, super tiny thing anyway) I think you did great! The chunky colors and outlines work really well here as well. Keep it up!
Pretty good! the one thing I could possibly critizise is that the chainmail part looks pretty flat compared to the rest of the piece which has good shading and sense of volume. But, not entirely sure how to fix that, it's a pretty difficult texture to convey at this scale. Maybe experiment with making some of the clusters on the right highlighted and aad make a few near the left edge the darkest metal color?
