I submitted this char with no animation before
the animation is really incomplete, i need to make another hit after this one
mmm dont know wath to say... just see and comment :p

note : i know the standing its exagerated, its at pourpose :p and the... smoke... whatever (dont know the exact word in english) is just fast maded because its necesary to understand well the leg movement, i know is really bad xD

Instant fav, but I agree with finite, some "magical glow" or something would make it even more better.

Err, make the fist compress, rather than move, and keep pushing the upper body forward. Not sure what I was on when I typed that last sentence.

You could add a lot more power to his punch if you just added some slight follow-through in the arm and upper body after the hit. You could make the fist bounce off whatever it was he hit, or make the fist not move, but compress and the upper body keep pushing in.

I like the fact that his feet do not move to propel himself forward. It denotes more ... power. If all characters followed physics perfectly, well ... it would just be uninteresting. This is a very good piece in my opinion, and my only complaint is the shadow. It could use more detail rather than being a straight line.
Regardless, I still like this piece very much. Perfect score from me. Oh, and the word you are thinking of is 'dust'.

Because the legs aren't moving during the dash, it seems the acceleration must be coming from elsewhere. Rocket boots? Ninja shadow magic? You could indicate that with some fancy effects, which would make for a cool animation (I think...).

Apart from that the animation is great, and the character design and shading look superb.

i like the anim but i think the dash should be much more rapid.  Cool sprite too.
