But there was someone else in the painting. Someone who seemed to get closer as George stared more closely. Suddenly, the world seemed to change and he had the sensation of being trapped.

This was a challenge! I knew I wanted the journey to be the dark figure in the painting taking the man into the painting himself, but none of my ideas transitioned nicely from the first piece.
Eventually, I realised I was overcomplicating it and made the first image a canvas in the second. In effect, the journey has taken place between the two images.
