the only different with old pixel art is we don't have hardware limit anymore, We do have some piece that have more than 100 colors and accepted it into our gallery, but they still conservative on using colors. I can agree with you about that being the origins of pixel art, and agree and accept on pixeljoint having a colour limit
But I solidly disagree that this isn't pixel art - pixel art has expanded beyond that original meaning
I'm fine with sticking to more limited colours for stuff posted here, but stuff with more colours is still pixel art even if it doesnt have a place here

you will get what I means with amount of colours when you start to understand pixelart better
. but anyway sorry if I offended you by any means, english is not my mother language, i try to be soft spoken, but i think it will be hard to conveyed it by writing.
and you can try to upload new art with smaller colors, for this two, I think you still need to makes some edit, maybe by cuting the colors by half.
use this setting on Fill in buket on CPS to reduce the color on your drawing. just need to pick and fill the color you wish to reduce
and drop your edited picture in https://www.linneart.com/pj/ to see if you already reduced the colors, reduce it to 50 ish, and I will approve both of your image.
