@SeDiceBisonte it was fun figuring out how to do it all. It helps that I allowed myself a lot of colours to get the gradients all working.
@Trigonomicon If I'd known people would want to see it I would have called the 'firesands' something easier to pixel like 'cement paving land' or something! Though honestly after having a go at this it would be nice to do some more on it or something similar so maybe I'll get around to it some time.
Seconding what Trigonomicon said about the gradation of the terrain. It's so smooth and looks so natural! There are so many great details in this. One of my favourite parts is the wall behind the harbour. The texture work is so good.
I love all the creative, interesting buildings and creatures too. Great work!
this is so awesome, thank you very much! i was busy during the stream and forgot to check this out. plain incredible stuff, i'm actually speechless! ![]()
The locations are great but I want to give a shoutout to how naturally the terrain flows from water to sand to grass to stone as well. Can we see the Firesands sometime? :D
@QueenKami it's definitely level-selecty. Watch out for that first griffon fight, it's a tricky one.
Ooo I didn't get to see this one in the stream, great work!! Reminds me of the Super Castlevania world map.
That is a good looking map!
