Secret Santa for Normal-Neighbor who likes classic horror illustration, among other things.
I've tried to emulate the line-heavy shading work of Bernie Wrightson on the monster. I don't think I quite captured it, but it kind of turned into it's own thing and I ran with it.
I do hope you like it though.

Secret Santa 2025
Very cool. His left leg (our right) is particularly well drawn. I like the angle the foot is at. Not an obvious choice of angle for pixel art necessarily, but really suits the illustrative style. I also really like how you've drawn the bark on the tree stump. Really excellent texture work!
