If it would look exactly the same I don't see the point of rejecting it.
Rules are meant to be taken with context , that's why there is a color limit for submissions which I did not exceed.

As you can see these are a fairly high color count pieces which do not completely follow the traditional color recycling technique , but pieces like these are a significant part of this website's actual history and legacy. I would even say that my piece is not as controversial as some of them.
There are many pieces like these few which if you strictly apply the rules towards without context would be rejected.

you can take rules such as intentional pixel placement , blur , AA control and such , you could reject pieces like these as well with the strict literal approach towards such rules. Yet they haven't been rejected and are an interesting part of this website's history.
I do not think my piece is a special case in that sense , but even if you think it is , I think it's wrong to reject it in this strict careless manner which does not reflect on the website's actual values.

Your pixel art would look exactly the same if you unify half of its colours. Many of them are almost indistinguishable, and they are redundant. You should use proper colour recycling techniques, and you are here for years so you already know the rules. Being stubborn will get you nowhere, we are tired of your disrespectful behavior.
We have many reasons to reject your piece. One of them is that this is a 20 year old pixel art gallery with traditional pixel art rules. We know that modern pixel art moved far beyond that and we love all of it. We use many other, less restricted pixel approaches daily, in our work and personal projects. However, we are continuously deciding to value the history left for us to maintain, and keep the Pixel Joint as a consistent gallery. If you cannot respect that you can successfully move to many other online galleries, which do not have a legacy to uphold and are open for all moder pixel art experimentation or all other digital art. If you do not care about what PJ is representing, than probably you won't find satisfaction here.
You have 3 options to move forward.
1) Edit your piece by reducing the colour count, as any other beginner or advanced pixel artist would do in such situation.
2) Ignore this piece and stay on PJ but upload only pieces that are suitable for the gallery.
3) Continue to force your way through either by obnoxiously reuploading the same file over and over again, or by trying to "convince" mods to abandon their obligation to follow the rules in your special case - which will only result in your account being banned.
None of you are explaining your logic to me , you are just repeating that it has too many colors.
As I explained in this piece , the amount of different colors does not reduce any of it's pixel art properties.
If you think it does let me know which property is it specifically.
Other wise , you are just rejecting my piece for no good reason and should simply leave me to post it.
No need to upload this piece again. Simply correct this one instead. As said before, try to reduce the color numbers cause it's really huge for such piece.
That's a pity, because it is a very beautiful piece. It doesn't follow the PJ gallery standards. If you cannot bother with colour recycling strategies and feel that you need to pick up a new colour for singular pixels - as your way of artistic expression, or any other reason, than we totally accept your approach as a valid, and we are glad you have found your freedom. I'm sure other pixel art galleries will have to problem with accepting this artwork.
The piece looks clean as it is , no over AA and no noise.
I didn't deviate from the color limit , so I don't see the problem.
If you want to reject it for no reason go ahead , I'm not changing it.
So the only thing I can ask of you right now (because you are trying to convince me that we shouldn't as mods interpret the rules, but you will interpret them better for us) that you are choosing the option 3) and wish to be banned?
