I knew from the start I wanted to use this challenge to draw an Australian animal and I think Platypuses are cool. Not to mention with all the weird stuff they've got going on, I'm sure they'd have no trouble evolving elemental powers. 

This challenge also sounded like a good chance to basically design a fakemon, so I ran with that and made it a bit cartoony and fun.
