this one took a while. i actually drew a background for once! i figure after the other piece i did recently where i had to say "yeah this looks best with a dark background" or whatever, i should just start drawing backgrounds in. at least sometimes. honestly a half-assed background like this doesn't take too long so i really have no excuse. well, my excuse is probably that my perspective sucks ass and thus the background looks wonk as hell if you spend too much time staring at it, but hopefully the foreground is distracting enough 

overall this one came out great. i don't have many complaints about it other than the background (which is really not that good but whatever). but if i must find things to talk about, i would say that perhaps i overdid it on the skin highlights, the shading on her hands and face is a little odd in places, and the left side of her left boob (the right side of the right boob from our perspective) looks a bit off in a way i can't quite place. perhaps it would look better if I had moved the arm a bit to the right or left. i think these are nitpicks (although i know face shading is something i generally need to work on), so i'm not going to let them get me down much.

anyway this one was enough work that i actually went and animated a preview. that part leaves a lot to be desired. i have no idea how to use animation tools really.
