Thank you. The trick is that by defining a lot of the detail in the light areas your brain is tricked into assuming those same details in the shadow areas, even though I didn't put them in. Or, in other words, if the hair is particularly excellent it's mostly because of the work your brain is putting in to make it excellent so thank you for that 

Very nice work. The colours are excellent and I love all the different textures you've got into this with the unconventional shading. The rendering of the hair is particularly excellent, and somehow that part is only two colours!
