I always really like it when the lighting, or lackthereof strongly imply a solid shape, that otherwise isnt depicted. At the end of the rightmost bridge where it hits the castle, the tower and building on either side of the street reads as a looming impossibly tall hallway towards the innerworkings of the castle.
