This is a frame from an animation I'm doing about the MSX game "Cross Blaim." Some minimalist 8-bit settings are eerily evocative. What on earth could be going on in the mind of a man stuck on a forgotten planet, lonely and deep underground, his only human interaction being to sell weapons to the space-warriors who can survive long enough to find him.

This was made with the MSX2 color scheme in Aseprite.
