Another 2 bit piece, following on the theme of my Clown in Realisation (basically things that were suppose to be funny/exciting, which just aren't) The jack in a box has to be one of the worst toys going. Anyway, here's a decrepit one. There are a few bits of this piece I think are a bit crap (mainly the springs), but on a whole I really like it.
I would like any C&C, but am probably not going to touch this piece again.

I was focusing mainly on the left (his right) because the slightly angled lines like that don't look very good in two colors as that restriction effectively removes the technique of aa.
@Monkey 'o Doom: Which line of the eyebrow? left or right, or both? And good catch on the bit count, I don't know why I wrote that, guess I was going to write "another 2 colour piece" but wrote bits instead...
Very nice style on this, but the line separating the eyebrow from the hair bothers me a bit. I love the springs for the arms. Great use of the two colors.
BTW, this is 1-bit (one bit can be either a 0 or a 1, leading to two possible colors).
That's a good point. Now that you mention it I was going to have the shadow creep into the back wall, but I got too carried away drawing the floor and background and forgot what I was doing
Ah well... I need to remember that for my next piece, although I am rather tempted to edit this one...
2bit images are still sooooo cool. The shading style is great for this. The lightsource is very hard to define, tho. The shadow on the box tells me thats the main direction but other areas seem to come from other directions.
