Secret santa gift at Pixelation for Toby. Thought I'd submit this as my last online picture of 2006. Haven't played any of the games, so I had to rely on what little reference I could find. Had to use a somwhat jaggy laptop mouse, so the rocky texture worked to my advatige I guess. The picture ended up on Joystiq after being on Digg, so you might have seen it there already. No matter though. Here it is again :P It's msPaint by the way. Happy New Year everybody!

This looks extremely cool and is very well drawn. Maybe it could have been a bit cleaner, but that rough style fits the topic perfectly!

It's a fine piece, but actually it was just the massive lineart... For example, the fur IS QUITE EASY to do.

I think this will be the first picture to go past st0ven's work. And I think this will take pixel art as an art form further, the level will raise, the amount of pixel scenes will increase, the size the magnitude. I think it's great!

This piece is exceptional beyond words. I browsed your DA gallery after seeing this piece and can see that you are quite the artist in many different mediums. I feel that it takes more than just precision pixel placing to create something as grandiose as this and your DA gallery backs up the statement.

It really shows the SOTC ambience with the colors, the background and the characters. I'd put a bit more contrast on it, but the way it is still make me say loudly "HOLY SHIT!" (other people too, but I REALLY said that loudly).

this piece is amazing. something this size i would respect if it had 32 colors, but 17? insane. ive never played either games, but doesnt the little guy push the ball? it looks like its coming towards him, if you flipped the whole scene horizontally, but kept the littledude in the same position i think it would fix that little problem. also, the bottom collosus' head is pretty flat.

Bastard. I give this piece 6 hours before it becomes the top pixel art of the month. I thoroughly enjoyed this piece snake. Every thing looks lovely, and the stone like textures did you justice. Great job. Don't have any critiques at the moment, by I'll be sure to look harder when I get the chance...
